Did you know that 70 percent of the U.S. population has at least one social media profile? And of that group, 50 percent have more than two profiles. Gone are the days where social media is viewed as a fad that will soon go away. It’s here to stay and if you aren’t taking advantage of it now (and you’re not giving it some serious attention), you’re missing out.
What’s really telling is that consumers say social media plays as big a role in purchasing as TV ads, if not bigger. So that begs the question: Would you delegate social media to an intern? Would you delegate your TV ads to an intern? We didn’t think so.
