Timehop is a revolutionary idea that deserves more public attention. Being able to compare and contrast your own life through the years in pictures, posts, and statuses is an innovative invention focused solely on the consumers’ wants. Unlike other social media platforms, Timehop does not tempt users into checking their feed multiple times every day. What you see on your Timehop timeline in the morning will be the same in the evening, so you only need to check it once.
Interaction is fairly limited on Timehop, but the simplicity of the app is one of the biggest selling points in my opinion. You can “find friends” on Timehop, which links you to any people in your social media networks who also have the Timehop app. There is also an option to invite friends, so you can share your experience with someone you know will love the experience! Timehop allows you to comment on or like/share other people’s Timehop posts. You also have the ability to share something from your own timeline with your friends on Timehop, Facebook, or Twitter. (Some examples of the app's features are shown below).
Overall, Timehop is a simple app dedicated to the consumer experience. Currently, there are only 18k users of Timehop. In my opinion, more people should download this app. It’s free, convenient, user-friendly, and most important of all - it’s fun! Check out Timehop next time you browse through the app store. You will not be disappointed.
Timehop shows you what happened in your life today a year or more ago. You can also view the Timehop timelines of other friends who use the app!
You have the ability to comment on your own Timehop events from previous years. Clearly, I am still a big fan of the popular TV show "Newsroom."
If you want to share your Timehop on a different ocial media platform, such as Twitter, the option is available. This is a fun way to show friends what you were thinking on this day in the past.
Friends can like your posts about Timehop via other social networks. There is also the option for fellow Timehop users to comment or like your post within the app itself.
