In today’s market where consumers value a brand’s authenticity as much as the products and services that they’re buying, it’s crucial to deliver content to your audience in a genuine and branded way. Well-executed, consistent and branded content can drive traffic, generate leads and fuel conversions. Use these four tips to focus your branded content and start reaping the rewards.

1. Go beyond your product.

Sure, potential customers care about the details and specs of your product or service. But don’t expect them to make a purchase solely based on the product. You’ll attract a larger audience by delivering content that aligns with your core values and makes a connection with your audience. When given the chance, tell a story. Tell the story of your company, your employees, and why you do what you do. Compelling storytelling can be done through social media posts (images, graphics and videos), blog posts, and email campaigns.

2. Be creative.

We live in a repetitive world. We hear the same songs on the radio, see the same TV commercials over and over again, see the same viral social media posts several times in the same week. It’s time to get creative with the content you publish. Spend time considering your audience and what time of content they’re likely to engage with and share with their network.

3. Speaking of sharing…

It’s important to make your content shareable. When people discover new content that they enjoy, they’re likely to share it. Design your content to be easily shared on your social channels.

4. It’s all about context.

Your branded content should have a clear message, tone, language and voice that keeps your audience interested. Every blog post, social media post and email that you send out should have your brand’s style and image align.
