Your followers are there for a reason; each wants to connect with you beyond the static information that you present on your website or update to your blog. The individuals that find your company or organization on a social media platform have taken the first step to become more in tune with your organization. Make sure you make the connection on a personal level. Write in the first person so that you can connect with those individuals. A first person perspective sounds more personable. Are you trying to provide a glimpse to the organization or promote your products? Whatever your decision is, make sure that you remain consistent within your brand. Provide Insider Information
Give your followers more than what they can get on your website. Provide some more information or incentives to build your follower base and then maintain them. If you are an organization that can provide incentives, give a percentage off to certain social media followers only. If you aren't, highlight individuals within the organization to shed light on the individuals who work for the organization. Overall, let your followers into your organization. It's okay to let them know you are good at what you're doing; just provide the information!
